There are some prerequisites you may need to be eligible for beauty school. In order to be admitted into one of our programs, you must have a high school diploma or have passed the GED. If you don’t already have your diploma, visit Michigan’s GED site to get an idea of how to prepare.

Fill Out Your Application

At the start of your tour, we can provide you with our current enrollment application to fill out. We can help you while filling it out and answer any questions you might have.

If you attended another beauty school previously, you may want to bring along your transcripts for credit transferral. The transferral of credits depends on an individual evaluation of grades and previous training. If you aren’t sure if you are eligible for credit transferral or want to learn more, contact our admissions department.

Discover Our Programs

At Elevate Salon Institute in Utica, we offer full-time cosmetology and esthetics programs. We’ll talk with you about our full and part-time programs, as well as future career opportunities that could be available to you upon graduation.

Our school is approved by the Department of Education and we accept federal financial aid such as scholarships and grants for students who qualify. We also offer scholarships to those who qualify. Our admissions officers will also go through the cost of tuition with you and talk about the payment plans and private loan options as well.

Schedule a Follow-Up Appointment

At the end of your tour, we’ll help you schedule a follow-up interview with the admissions office, where you can talk to our staff about the next steps. We’ll go over what program you are interested in, look at potential start dates, go over your completed application, graduation paperwork, or outside credits, and review financial aid options or qualifications. Then once your application is approved, you are ready to enroll!
